Albany Dermatology Staff
Ari J. Fisher RPA-C has been with Albany Dermatology since 2001. Ari was previously employed at the Albany Medical Center where he practiced in the departments of medicine and emergency medicine. He graduated with honors from the Albany-Hudson Valley Physician Assistant Program, Albany NY in 1993, and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies with a Concentration in Dermatology from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 2003.

As a Physician Assistant who has received specialized training in dermatology, Ari is licensed and qualified to perform a comprehensive dermatological examination, diagnose, treat, and prescribe appropriate medical therapy for your dermatologic needs.

He is skilled in performing procedures that include shave, wedge and punch biopsies, surgical excisions, cryotherapy, and laser treatments.

Ari is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is licensed by the State of New York. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, The New York State Society Of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Tracy Davis Graduated from Chistine Valmy International School for Esthetics in 2003 receiving her N.Y.S. Esthetics License in June. She's worked at  various spa's as a Esthetician in the area before coming to Albany Dermatology. Previously a spa owner, she can use her experiences from the spa setting and bring it to the dermatology office. She is currently trained to use a medical grade Microdermabrasion machine and Glycolic Chemical Peels. She also uses a medical grade product MD FORTE not sold in any salon/spa.

"I'm learning so much working here and keep learning new things everyday. I am glad to be really helping patients with their skin care needs-I feel I'm making a difference in their skin, while still giving them a spa-like experience. All my work has the oversight of Dr. Shoss, and he frequently checks on their progress. "
 
Tracy has a wide variety of skin care products that are not sold in stores. Call her for
details. She's available Monday through Friday from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
