Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive exfoliating procedure that gently and painlessly removes the very top layers of damaged skin. It works by directing a stream of very fine crystals at the skin to loosen and remove the dead and damaged skin cells. This promotes the formation of new smoother, clearer invigorated skin.
Typically, Microdermabrasion is done on the face. However, it may also be used on other body areas such as the backs of the hands.
There are very few side effects. Some patients may have some mild redness that generally subsides in just a few hours. There are no after care restrictions, and you can return to your regular activities right away.

Microdermabrasion can refresh dull or uneven skin color, remove blackheads and clogged pores, soften fine lines and rough patches, soften the appearance on some types of scars, and impart a more rejuvenated appearance to the skin.

One session will generally take about 30 minutes. There is no special preparation before the procedure.
